CALL FOR PROPOSALS & AWARD SUBMISSION

You are invited to submit an application for a workshop presentation for consideration at the 2018 Leadership Summit in New Orleans. You will automatically be entered to participate in our awards program.

Award recipients will take center stage at our 2018 Leadership Summit in New Orleans.

Instructions

  1. Fill out the online survey form. Deadline is July 28, 2017.
    Online Submission Form:

  2. You will be contacted by August 11, 2017 if your workshop proposal is selected.
    Note: Applications selected for a presentation do not necessarily receive an award.

  3. If your workshop is selected, a more detailed proposal will be due on September 1, 2017.

  4. Award winners will be announced on-site at the event in New Orleans in February 2018.

Criteria for Submission

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrate innovation in nightlife planning, management or policing

  2. Offer proof of success (through quantitative data or qualitative analysis)

  3. Register for the event (reduced speaker rate will be provided to candidates whose presentations are selected)

  4. Pay for your own travel and lodging.

There are four different categories for a workshop (and award).

(1) Sociable City Showcase (Eligible for Most Sociable City of 2018 Award)

(2) Excellence in Safety

(3) Excellence in Vibrancy

(4) Excellence in Planning
